Miya is a photographer and filmmaker with a creative focus on stories and images of adventure, lifestyle, and conservation.

She works to create art that inspires, with a run-and-gun philosophy, a “by any means necessary” production policy, and the ability to be fully in the moment with talent and athletes having a high level of outdoor experience herself.

She also has a wide range of production and assisting experience in the photo and video world, having interned with acclaimed photographer Corey Rich in 2021 at Novus Select.

Whether it’s dangling off the side of El Cap to capture meaningful ascents, or running around the Eastern Sierra to help tell the story of climate change, not a moment goes by in the day when she’s not scheming up a new story she wants to tell. Reach out, and we’ll make something great together.

She is available for hire as a photographer, director, cinematographer, editor, or assistant camera for assignments and is willing to travel anywhere to capture meaningful and inspiring stories and images.
